Indigo joined with a collective group of passionate women to produce AWOMENfest, providing our assistance in delivering a three-day feminist arts festival which brought together over 30 different performers, workshop leaders and collaborators for an inspiring weekend of art, discussion, activity and performance all in aid of the fantastic cause, the My Body Back Project. The festival also featured in London's Evening Standard, TimeOut Magazine and The Londonist,
After having produced a number of shows at the Etcetera Theatre over the last 3 years, Indigo embarked, together with the Etcetera on a regular monthly slot to showcase the best comedy and drama from across the UK at one of London’s best fringe venues. We are proud to have devised and produced Indigo Presents, which is being led by Ciara Hablützel (Executive Producer) and Rory Hughes (General Manager) alongside a venue that has played host to Al Murray, Russel Howard, and Russell Brand, as well as premieres of plays by Alan Ayckbourn and Alan Bennett.
INDIGO ARTS & CULTURE FESTIVAL 2017
In Spring 2017, Indigo took over the Battersea Barge to showcase their first Arts and Culture festival. Up and coming comedians from the Cambridge Footlights and the Oxford Revue delivered hilarious performances and there was exciting and lively with music from all-female a cappella groups as well as an evening of moving spoken word poetry from a variety of poets. Packed out decks on the Barge also led to great awareness and funds being raised for our chosen charity, the National Deaf Children’s Society.
