Our relationship started as all great friendships do… in choir rehearsals.

Many years on, and remarkably we’re still the best of friends who haven’t fallen out despite the beautiful madness that has been producing theatre, short films, comedy and arts festivals across the world together for the past several years.

James studied at University College London, reading History of Art & Philosophy with a focus on non-European art and performance in the Late Middle Ages. He has worked previously for the Universal Music Group at Decca Records, for AKA, a worldwide entertainment advertising & marketing agency, and is the Director of Content for Crossroads Live.

Ed is a graduate of the University of Oxford where he read Theology and Religion at St Benet’s Hall, specialising in Islam in the 20th century, and has studied Management Finance at the London School of Economics. He worked previously as part of the production team for David Ian Productions, and is now VP, Group Corporate Affairs for Crossroads Live. He currently serves as a proud Trustee of the Music Boroughs Trust.

We founded Indigo in 2016 with the same vision we hold today: of creating a supportive, accessible community of talented creators and live entertainment practitioners to provide our creative partners with a strong platform for their work to be developed, showcased and presented here in the UK and globally.
